Public Awarenss Policy
IADA's public awareness policy is based on the following principles:
Clear messages categorically opposing any type of drug use.
Casting a mark of disgrace on drug dealers.
Research based facts and data - from Israel and from around the world.
Exposing the harmful effects and dangers of each drug without rating drugs in terms of their dangers and harm.
Language used must be suitable for each particular target audience.
Bringing about a change in the public atmosphere regarding drugs.
No preaching, threatening or provoking unnecessary fear.
Casting clear responsibility upon drug users and parents for their actions and behavior - beyond the existing legal responsibilities of relevalnt ministries, public and private organizations and IADA.
